We always welcome new clients and patients to our full service veterinary practice in Revelstoke British Columbia. We know you will be very happy with our services.
As a new or current client of the Revelstoke Veterinary Clinic, you can expect our full attention to your pets’ needs and to always be treated with courtesy and respect. We enjoy meeting and getting to know our clients and patients and recognize the importance of the family bonds you share.
You can contact our veterinary clinic during open hours in order to request an appointment for your pet. All of the details on how to contact us can be accessed here.
Once you’ve scheduled an appointment with one of our receptionists we will ask you to fill out a history form. These forms provide valuable information for our veterinary team in order to ensure we assist in the well-being and proper care for your pet(s) at the time of the appointment.
It’s important you complete this form prior to your appointment. Please note, this form is only meant to be filled out if you already have an appointment scheduled at our clinic.
You can complete the form at the link here.
When you arrive for your appointment, our reception staff will greet you, confirm the reason for your visit and get an updated weight from you pet.
Our client care team will make sure to guide you into an examination room as soon as one is available. It is always our goal to see clients and patients promptly at their scheduled appointment time, however there may be times where the unexpected creates delays.
Once in the exam room, you will be able to provide our veterinary assistant with a brief history along with preliminary information, which will be passed onto the doctor.
Next, the doctor will examine your pet, discuss your concerns and plan further diagnostics or treatment as necessary, which may be undertaken at the time of your visit or scheduled for another visit. We’d like to emphasize that we are always open to whatever questions you may have — we want to make sure that you’re completely comfortable with the information we’re providing, the decisions made, and the care that is given.
Once you’re finished with the vet, you will have some more time with the assistant who can provide you with further information and resources, as well as answer your questions and confirm follow-up plans.
Finally, a receptionist can assist you in scheduling your next visit, dispensing prescriptions, helping you with food and other over-the-counter purchases, and attending to your invoice.
